Medical & Non medical Transportation

Gilcrest Center proudly serves Wayne, Medina, Stark, & Summit Counties in Ohio. We specialize in providing safe and punctual transportation services for community residents and nursing facilities, including trips to and from both medical and non-medical visits. Our transportation service operates Monday through Saturday, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, excluding major holidays.

Our Mission

We are a fully functional Adult Daycare Center & Transportation Company which strives to meet the social, emotional, physical, spiritual, and creative needs of every member or participant. While recognizing the vital role played by nursing homes in the provision of long-term care services. The Gilcrest Center believes that no individual should be forced to accept institutionalization due to the unavailability of home and community based long term care service options. Our Staff is loving, caring and supportive extensions of the family. We strive to be a great asset to our community and the surrounding communities.

I like going to Gilcrest because I can interact with other people instead of sitting at home & being depressed, watching TV all the time & doing nothing. There are people my own age who I can talk to & listen to their stories; like sharing each other's lives. We can play BINGO & do crafts, eat together, laugh & cry together and make good friends. And we have very nice aides to be with.

"I've been coming to the Wooster center the first week it opened. After a year, due to health problems I had to discontinue services, but now I am back. The center provides a place for socialization and activities for people who don't get out much, and an opportunity to leave their residence. We have wonderful & nutritious meals and snack, fun games to play and activities to enjoy. The aides and director treat us with kindness & compassion.
